Lady Cordelia
Bannister is engaged to an American, Daniel Sinclair, she has never met
him. She assumes a false identity as does Daniel. Let the games begin
between these two imposters. Neither one knows the other one is also
being devious.
Lady Cordelia
a.k.a her personal maid, is finding out she is attracted to Daniel
Sinclair, she wants to come clean about her sham but is concerned he
will not want anything to do with her. Daniel Sinclair a.k.a his
private secretary is finding he is attracted to Cordelia, he too wants
to come clean about his sham, but is just as concerned she will not want
anything to do with him. The situations they both find themselves in
are priceless.
Daniel Sinclair
had also entered into a wager with three other gentlemen; the last man
single would win the bet. He thought he was close to winning it when
his father demands he marry Lady Cordelia for financial security. He is
honored bound to do this for his father, he just might not win the bet,
and he really does not care if he does.
A charming, funny
story. This is the third book in the series, each book can be read on
its own. The characters are written with their flaws, it’s rather
refreshing to see that. The secondary characters are entertaining as
well. Highly recommended.
