Lex's family isn't
so unusual. If you're used to a loud, obnoxious but doing everything in
love and for the best of you sort of family....
Lex loves
volleyball and she loves the Lord. She hasn't found the love of her life
yet, but it's not for lack of her intrusive family members trying. When
her cousin is married, leaving Lexi the eldest single in her family, she
wonders if she'll survive the 'help' she gets from others...including
God. Surely He knows what she's up against and how to help her out?
Maybe he wants her single for a while, if so, could he make it clear to
her and her family so the nagging doubts and clumsy attempts can
stop???
The author does an
excellent job of bringing us into Lexi's loud life and letting us not
only observe, but feel the poor girl's pain! While Lexi attempts to
follow the families Japanese traditions and ways, she finds life a bit
challenging. It's only when she allows God to work in her life that
things begin to change. But, even then it's not smooth sailing. SUSHI
FOR ONE is a fun look into the life of a single Asian woman who just
wants to live life, the way, well, she wants to.
