Cory Russell was
not happy with his new business neighbor. She was new to their small
town and was already in the newspaper complaining, proposing new ideas,
and criticizing their traditions. Upset, he replied with a letter to
the editor.
Emily Alden
couldn’t believe how her comments had been misrepresented. New to town,
and with a new business, she definitely wasn’t going to make friends or
gain customers with that article. And Cory Russell’s reply was evidence
to that. However, she knew that actions spoke better than words, and
decided to prove that when he challenged her to help with a community
project.
Cory wasn’t sure
what to make of Emily. She obviously wasn’t the lady he’d anticipated
based on the article. And she surprised him at every turn. Could she
be the one?
Midnight Frolic is
about two people who have had disappointments in the past, but have
learned to put their fears and hope for the future in God’s hands. Ms.
Lough introduces a town I would love to travel to, and characters I’d
like to visit while there.
