Sarah’s career was
at the top of its game. As one of the prime real estate agents in
Portland, Sarah knew her career had no where to go but up. With that in
mind, Sarah had no problems maintaining a lavish and fulfilling
lifestyle. With a luxury condo, designer clothes and a extravagant
sports car, Sarah had it all and didn’t need anything or anyone.
The one thing she
didn’t have in life was a family. Growing up with a mother who favored
her sister and a sister who in turn hated her didn’t make it matter one
way or another that her mother was dead and her sister moved far away
and chose an alternative lifestyle.
Suddenly, a phone
call from her sister’s lawyer shatters her whole world. Angry at her
sister Ivy, for passing away and leaving her with such a monumental
request , Sarah heads out to Lancaster County to meet with the lawyer
and attempt to settle Ivy’s outlandish wishes. Little did Sarah know
that her journey to the Plain country would involve God’s healing touch
and the love of five Amish orphans.
THE REDEMPTIONN OF
SARAH CAIN by Beverly Lewis was Ms. Lewis at her best! You will not be
disappointed at the raw and real feelings that she creates in each and
every character. The reality of how God can penetrate even the hardest
of hearts hits home in this moving story.
