Sometimes fate
needs a little boost, and that's what happens in this light-hearted
romp into rural America.
Ambrose and Dorcas
have been exiled from the magical community to tend to a dragon they
swear has ADD. If that isn't enough to make you giggle, consider the
effect two upscale out-of-towners have on a small town in Indiana.
Sean Madigan has a
problem. In the one-horse town of Big Knob, he has a reputation as a
Don Juan. He oozes sex appeal and the women chase after him like cats
in heat. His problem? He's tired of it. So when he stumbles on the
strangers who've taken up residence (and who look strangely out of place
in their designer clothes), they offer to help him with his problem.
They dud him down to keep the girls from chasing him. They also have
other plans for him - they conjure up his soul mate.
Enter Maggie
Grady. How is it that a Texas land acquirer for a big box company ends
up in a small town like Big Knob? Well it must be magic, or a queer
series of events.
The light hearted
story has all the key elements of a sexy romance novel. The author sets
the stage for you early on and then leaves you wondering how these two
soul mates will find their way together with opposing goals and several
states between them. The witch and the wizard keep a back seat through
most of the novel, letting nature takes its course. A warm and funny
novel, you find yourself cheering for Sean and Maggie as they discover
themselves and find their way to true love. I would definitely
recommend it.
