The Road to Romance - Go Fetch! by Shelly Laurenston

Miki Kendrick only wanted one thing … to earn her doctorate and start her life. She had it all planned out for herself: find a teaching position, be there for her friends, and track down an old crush and settle down. Only things don’t go as planned, especially when an egotistical, know it all, muscle bound, Viking werewolf named Conall Viga-Feilan refused to let her out of his sight. So, o’kay, maybe someone tried to kill her. But, hey, she’s a big girl. She can take care of herself.

Conall didn’t want to babysit a foul mouth, smart aleck, know it all like Miki. Too bad the wolf inside was fascinated by her, all but sitting up and begging for attention. All right, so she was drop dead gorgeous and had a body to die for. Fine, he’d admit it. Sure, he wanted her, but that didn’t mean he had to like her. Her mean streak was a mile wide. But no matter how he fought it, Conall admired everything about her. Who knew he was such a masochist?

Forced together in close quarters, the couple was at each others throats. Miki wanted her freedom and Conall wanted her safe. But when push came to shove, Miki knew Conall was the man she wanted on her side.  Though he might be an overbearing male, she knew he would give his life to protect her. When they were attacked, Miki refused to leave Conall to his fate. When life turned around and bit them in the butt, they must learn to fight for what they want most or lose it forever.

Shelly Laurenston has managed to write another book I couldn’t put down. I love the storyline, not to mention the to-die-for characters. The chemistry between Miki and Conall really made them jump off the pages. They are so life-like, I wouldn’t be surprised to meet them on the streets. If you are looking for a book to make you laugh, one that captures your attention till the end, you want to make sure you read Go Fetch! Although this is book two of three, it can be read alone. Fabulous job.
