THE SCHOOL FOR HEIRESSES by Sabrina Jeffries, Liz Carlyle, Julia London, Renee Bernard

Four Regency Romance novellas crowd the pages of THE SCHOOL FOR HEIRESSES giving fans of Sabrina Jeffires, Liz Carlyle, Julia London and Renee Bernard something to look forward to.

After Eliza is caught trying to run away from her evil uncle’s plans to marry her off, she must convince the new Earl of Monteith that he should come to her aid. Sabrina Jeffries crafts a wonderful tale of just how easily bad circumstances can turn into true love in her novella “Ten Reasons to Stay”.

Martinique, a courtesan’s daughter, suddenly finds herself engaged to the scandalous Lord St. Vrain after a case of mistaken identity. St. Vrain is notorious – and Martinique finds herself wondering how they’ll ever make a good match. Author Liz Carlyle’s style is quite witty and will delight fans of Regency romance.

Grace Holcomb carries the burden of marrying up. Her father, a wealthy wool merchant, has made sure that she knows it, too. However, the only suitor that Grace finds worth her attentions is not remotely suitable. Julia London’s story “The Merchant’s Gift” is wonderfully romantic.

Alyssa tries very hard to follow Mrs. Harris’s directives. It is just not her fault that mayhem seems to follow her around. Foibles and folly are mixed with heady romance in Renee Bernard’s funny tale, “Mischief’s Holiday”.

THE SCHOOL FOR HEIRESSES is a delightful menange of Regency Romance. The authors have done a wonderful job weaving the common thread of Mrs. Harris and her School for Young Ladies through stories that come alive with their own signature writing style.
