Beth Whitney and Ethan Crane both works for her father who is in charge of The Goddard Project, a top-secret agency. Beth was left at the altar by her fiancé who her father just hired and Ethan is a commitment phobic guy but both haven’t dealt with a match-making father who is hell bent on getting them together. They are working together on a case where they are together a lot and the close proximity will definitely heat up their relationship.
Beth’s character changes tremendously as the story progresses. She blooms before our eyes as she becomes a woman who is able to set her fears aside. Beth becomes a heroine one can admire as she tackles an ex-fiancé who wants her back, a man who she is very attracted to and a mission to complete. Ethan has fought his attraction to her for years but when they are assigned to a case together posing as boyfriend/girlfriend all bets are off. It is entertaining watching him fight the inevitable and not succumbing very gracefully to his fate. These are two characters readers can fall in love with. The interaction between them is sizzling as their sexual heat increases. While they are busy falling in love and lust, there still is a bad guy to catch and a job to do!
Satisfaction Guaranteed is the first book in the Goddard Project series. The author does a superb job of melding the romance with eroticism and an action-packed story. It is a riveting story that will keep the reader at the edge of their seat. Satisfaction Guaranteed is a “one sitting” book. Don’t start it unless you have plenty of time to finish it!
