Nice descriptions, hot sex, great characters and a wonderful romance. Fever is all that and more. This novel is for those who want a spicy read with all the details. From the first page to the last, read Kimberly Dean as she brings her characters to life with her great writing style.
Perfection by Summer Devon – Allie was a waitress. She was used to truckers hitting on her. Unfortunately, Allie was a magnet for losers. So when she fond herself attracted to a stranger, she fought against it with all her will power. Bryan worked for Metcher Corporation. He needed a few extra bucks and signed up for a little lab experiment. Only little became big when his pheromones registered off the charts. Now he can’t go anywhere without being attacked. By woman. When waitress Allie showed herself a bit immune to him, he was intrigued. But when men in white coats came to take him away, she saved him. He can’t help but fall for her. But was it the Pheromones or love?
Right off the bat, the humor grabbed me. And although I found the story interesting, Bryan and Allie didn’t come across as three dimensional people. What gave this book the push above average is Mrs. Devon’s wonderful imagination and smooth, clean writing.
Taming Him by Michelle M. Pillow – Maggie Stewart was about to become abducted by aliens. She can’t believe it. Her fiancé cheated on her, she loses her friends and now this. Erotic dreams have plagued her for the last few months. Now it appeared that her dream lover was actually an alien. More then a little confused, she fought her fate. But when she learned she can either have him or go back home to Earth alone, Maggie wasn’t sure if she could give up the guy who has loved her so thoroughly.
The first meeting between the characters really grabbed my attention. I liked the Maggie and Vladei, but it is his emotions that made the story an absorbing read. I couldn't put it down. I found that the character Maggie seemed to ramble on a bit, but the overall story won me over. The tension between the two is out of this world –Pun intended. Unexpected twists made this reader really appreciate Michelle Pillow’s writing talent.
