A short fun book, Just One Look by Christine France chronicles the adventures of American Toni Peters as she sets out on her backpacking holiday in Europe and gets more than she bargained for in a quiet seaside town in bucolic France.

The dark-haired, dark-eyed heroine lands in Marseilles looking for her errant former college mate who was to be her travel buddy but has since vanished off the face of France! Following clues leads her to the sexy Englishman Neil Trenton who is holidaying in his family home in beautiful Provence. As Toni finds out what happened to her missing friend, she has the adventure of a lifetime, with sparks flying with the gorgeous Neil and the problems of her missing friend. The volatile mix of the attraction between Toni and Neil, the crises precipitated by Toni’s friend all add to the development of the plot.
The book is definately a decent read for a rainy day. As I said before short and sexy describes this book to a
'T'. The added bonus being some mouthwatering descriptions of many things French including the French Kiss!
