DRAGON’S HEIR by Sierra Dafoe

As a rogue shifter, Zendar has been banished from his homeland for twenty years. When he saw Lara in flight, his plan for vengeance fell into place. With or without her help, he would have her. Soon, he will become the heir to Djarera. All he has to do was wait for the right moment.

Elara Southerlin was the future Queen of Melgara and a dragon shifter. Her life was perfect. She has everything, from two men who love her, to a dotting mother who granted almost every wish. And yet, she dreamed of more. They say Khef made her feel this way, the dragon mating frenzy, but Lara doesn’t believe it. She dreamed of love, of finding the other half of her soul. But time grew short and she needed to find a mate. That fact was brought home to her when just her being in a room started men fighting over her.

Escaping form the kingdom would have been easy as a dragon, but it would send her into Khef. While scaling the walls of the castle, she slipped and fell. Only to be rescued by a dragon. When she woke, she found herself completely at his mercy. The thought thrilled her and terrified her. Was he the man of her dreams or the dragon of her worse nightmare?

Great back story, wonderful description, and fabulous world building really drew me into the story. This is a character driven novel, but the emotions… wow! They really grabbed me and emerged me in the story. The interaction between the main characters is very erotic, not for those who don’t want the details. Dragon’s heir is a sequel to The Dragon’s Daughter. Although it can be read alone, the first book really enhances the characters. Another wonderful novel by Sierra Dafoe.

Warning: This book deals with gay relations and is highly explicit. If this is offensive to you in any way, this book may not be for you.
