Taylor’s having a rough time of it. Her boyfriend has dumped her right before New Years, and now she’s going to have to bow out of a big party she’d planned on attending. She knew that they were going to break up and was going to do it after the holidays, but her now ex-boyfriend decided to not be so nice. Depressed, she tells her good friends Mikel and Zach what happened, and is surprised when they offer to have one of them take her to the party. She isn’t sure who she would choose so she leaves it to them. Expecting a friendly get together with one of the guys, she’s surprised at just how much they seem to want her when they pick her up… together.
I thought that New Year’s Kiss was a fantastic book that had plenty of love, action and surprises throughout the story. One of the greatest things about the story is the struggle of the two men. They both have very possessive tendencies due to their werewolf side, but neither one wants to give up Taylor. They still try to find a way to make everything work, while Taylor initially isn’t quite sure what is going on, which makes for some interesting times. The interaction between all three characters is something that I found intriguing, because you can see the relationship starting to grow as soon as Taylor is dumped by her boyfriend. This wonderful story kept me glued to the computer until I’d finished, and then I wished for more. If you are looking for something really hot on a cold winter’s night, give New Year’s Kiss a try. You won’t regret it!
