When her best friend fell in love with two men, Myra was happy. And jealous. You see, Myra has never had any luck with men. Before her roommate would move out, she made a promise – she won’t leave without helping Myra find a man of her own!
Shape-shifter, Colin McGrath loved his life. So when friends tried to set him up with a woman outside of the pack, it meant trouble. He wanted nothing to do with her. He could find his own women, thank you very much. The instant he saw her, he changed his mind. All he could think about was to get her into his bed.
Myra met Colin and hunky didn’t even come close to describing him. One touch was all it took for them to fall into bed and a little bit in love. The more Colin came to know her, the more protective he became. The only thing that held him back was his allegiance to the pack. But Myra has a secret of her own, one that could ultimately destroy the love she so carefully nurtured.
The first meeting between Myra and Colin really captured my attention and created a great mood between the characters. Julia Talbot did a fantastic job in bringing her characters to life. Although the writing could have been a bit tighter, it detracted little from the overall story. Myra’s secret left a bit to be desired, but one that I would never have suspected. Nice surprise ending.
