Historical romance

ERINSONG by Diana Groe

**REVIEWER'S CHOICE**

The Northmen were all brutes, capable only of pillaging and theft, and Brenna knew that better than most. When one of the Northmen washes up on the shore near her home, with no memory of his history, his life or even his name, Brenna is as skeptical as her father, the king.

Finding herself secretly fascinated by the blond giant of a man, Brenna helps to convince her father to let him live, only to find that her father intends to make Brenna the man’s keeper. As the days pass, Brenna begins to find herself more and more drawn to the stranger, despite the memories of brutality that haunt her.

He’d washed up on the shore with only the clothes on his back and a keg full of ale, astounded to find himself in the presence of two beautiful young ladies. One of them, who seemed quite bloodthirsty, had immediately stabbed him with her pike. Having no idea who, or where, he is his instincts of self-preservation kick in and he realizes that he must find a way to save himself from these people who so obviously hate him.

Together these two enemies quickly become something more, but when the mysterious man’s memory begins to return, the secrets it holds threaten to tear apart their newly found love.

Author Diana Groe has crafted a masterfully written gem in ERINSONG. Set within a wonderfully detailed historical period, ERINSONG’s hero and heroine capture the reader’s interest and hold it through the entire novel. Groe’s characters shine from each page, her setting is wonderfully fresh and not the least bit over-done, and her plot is truly original. Filled with rich detail and heart-warming romance, ERINSONG is truly a keeper.
