THE DRAGON’S DAUGHTER by Sierra Dafoe

*** Reviewers Choice Award ***

In order to avert a war, Queen Melgara Southerlin sent two potential mates to woo her daughter. The winner would become king.

Rand and Darrek have always fought for what they wanted. Although both craved to be king, their fathers wanted it more. In order to be crowned, they must find the missing princess and win her approval. The journey tossed them into a new world, one so foreign it left two confident men, unbalanced. To succeed, each found they had to work together or both fail.

Elara Sutherland never knew of her royal past. It wasn’t until two dragons bumbled into her life that she started to suspect the truth. Always a shy girl, Lara dreamed of having more. She wanted adventure. She wanted love. So when Rand and Darrek showed up on her doorstep, Lara didn’t quite know how to handle them. That was until she learned about her ancestry. To chose one would leave the other exiled. But Lara started to suspect that for her dreams to come true, she would need both Rand and Darrek by her side. But will she be able to convince them and her mother that her decision was the best choice?

The Dragon’s Daughter kicked off with a fantastic opening scene. The skilled world building not only pulled me into the story but really endured me to the characters. The emotional tension between all three held me fast but it is the sexual tension that pushed this fabulous novel over the top. Lara is a girl with enough spunk to draw the reader, Rand a tender lover to woo any woman while Darrek is a touch of danger to tempt anyone into seduction. All three dynamic roles combined make this book for the keeper shelf.

Warning: This book deals with gay relations and is highly explicit. If this is offensive to you in any way, this book may not be for you.
