Although definitely an unusual relationship, it is complex and very well written. The love that each member has for the other is obvious and demonstrated repeatedly for the reader’s pleasure! The sexual encounters are frequent and varied while the danger that Holly faces from her past just cements the feelings of protectiveness and love and brings about a greater intimacy for all of them. Amazingly Ms. Banks makes Colters’ Woman a story that is blazing hot and wrenchingly heartfelt at the same time.
