Jo Tulip dislikes blind dates. Since her intended left her at the alter, she knows she has to get back into the dating scene. It is not a good sign, while on a blind date; he drops dead at her feet.
Danny Watkins has not yet told Jo how he feels about her. He has been in love with her for some time. They also have been best friends for as long as he can remember. He is flabbergasted when Jo joins a dating service. He is not happy, but he will support her no matter what she does, he always has.
Jo and Danny were helping the police with another murder. He is hoping there will be a right time to finally confess his true feelings to Jo. Meanwhile, Jo has to figure out not only who killed the victim; she also has to figure out why her love life is in such a sad state.
While recovering in the hospital, she comes to her senses and realizes she is in love with Danny, but before she can tell him, her ex, Bradford comes back into her life. Danny has a chance of a lifetime thrown in his lap; he has a chance to go to France. How can he make the choice between Jo and France.
As good as the first book, it has romance, mysteries, and more very funny moments. Jo is funny, smart. Danny is charming, sweet. There will be a third book in this hilarious series.
