Danielle is finally at the point she’s worked towards her whole life. She’s at the top of her field in the military, an enhanced soldier that’s had different types of implants and strength enhancers put into her body. She’s ready for the final phase of her conversion, vampire blood. But after they finally capture a vampire she begins to have second thoughts… what if he’s more than the animal she’s been told they are?
Bjorn can’t believe these humans have caught him after so long. They’d developed some sort of tranquilizer, and after so many years of being at the top of the heap, he finds himself strapped to a table and treated like a lab rat. He’s determined to get free, but this time in order to do it he’s going to need help. It doesn’t look like any of these fanatics are going to do it, so he begins to loose work on it himself…
Wow, what a great ride! This book kept me glued to the pages until I was through. I loved Danielle, she’s a tough woman who’s had to fight her way to the top of her field, and she’s not about to let that go. Bjorn is awesome, I really liked him and I thought both of them were fantastic characters that have a lot of chemistry between them. This story is not for the faint at heart, Danielle and Bjorn give as good as they get to their enemies and have no problem spilling blood while doing it in a spectacular manner. If you like strong women heroines and stories that are fast paced and mesmerizing, Immortalis is definitely the story for you!
