Banished to a barren mud ball halfway across the galaxy by her mother, Captain Soleyla Devarian could hardly control her rage. As a matriarchal society, she was trained as a warrior at a young age and resented being treated without the respect she rightfully deserved. She might be banished but that didn’t mean she couldn’t bring the comforts of home with her. A short visit to Porto V was needed. Porto V specialized in offering a certain type of slave. Pleasure slaves to be exact. Men were selected at birth and trained in the arts of pleasure.
All it took was one look and Soleyla wanted him. From the look in his eyes, the feeling might have been mutual but he was fighting it. After a short test, Soleyla’s decision firmed. She would have him. Unlike her mother, she viewed slaves as people. Any slave she owned was hers to protect. He would be her first purchased, Kantou. When she learned her mother had abused him, Soleyla almost backed out of the deal. Instead, she made a vow to prove to him and herself that not all women were like her mother.
Together they travel to the outpost. After a few days, Soleyla feared she wasn’t only banished but meant to die. When she stumbled upon a colony of people native to the land, she hesitated in reporting what she found. This world was slated to be cleared and prepared for colonization. That meant these people would be killed, murdered by her mother, or enslaved. As she came to know them, a plan started to form. Separate they would both perish, but together they might have a chance at survival. But the leader Roland, needed some persuasion. It was Soleyla’s pleasure to convince him that he could trust her, in every way.
From the very first pages, I was hooked. Devarian Exile was not only very well written, but action packed enough for even the most selective. The unique story kept me glued to the pages and the heat they generated … wow! I loved the story line, not to mention the characters. They were so well created, I could easily envision them alive. The vivid description was very attention getting and I adored every page. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a bit adventure, some sexual daring, and touch of romance.
Warning: This book deals with some gay relations and is highly explicit. If this is offensive to you in any way, this book may not be for you.
