Ms. Ryder has written a steamy story featuring two riveting characters. Julian and Emma are just wonderful together. These two steal the scenes whether they are making love or verbally sparring with each other. Their chemistry is strong and enticing. The reader can feel the desire they feel for each other. The sexual scenes are quite stimulating as Julian gives Emma what she needs. Emma is strong, mature and intelligent woman. Julian is a very sexy man who will give her everything she needs. Julian is a man that women dreams of having in their lives. Ms. Ryder does a superb job of delineating their characters. The reader understands Emma’s hesitation to put her trust in Julian. It makes Julian work all the more harder to win her over. He must overcome is reputation to convince her that he is worthy of her trust and love. The erotic action between them is very hot yet tender.
Tempting a Lady is a highly erotic historical romance. This is a seductive story that pulls the reader in and doesn’t let go until the very end. The reader will root for Emma and Julian until the very end.
