The portal between the past and present day is but a fine line. A line that at times can come together and.....
This is one of those times. Rania Cotterel a young archeologist who has been working on this dig for over a year and a half, still searching for that one great find. Her small group consisting of herself, the married couple Roy and Cynthia Osborne and her partner Burke O'Niell are about not only to find the find of a lifetime but one they can't possibly ever speak of. Here in this cave these four modern souls find not only a link to the Mayan history.
Upon opening the seal of an ancient carving they have released not only the misty gas but opened the portal that sends them back to the year 750 AD and into the life of the Mayan Empire and Lord Prince Al -Mon. Al-Mon who was about to in his time chose a wife found the beautiful Raina more than he could ever want and falls in love with her. Raina who was drawn to the carving in the cave finds that the carving was none other than Al- Mon who stands before her in the flesh now.
These four modern souls find they are forced to stay in that time until the next portal opening but can they stay and not alter history or has their coming there already changed history for the future? Can once Raina finds her true love be able to go back to her time?
I have enjoyed this author's works in the past and find this one is another one to add to my list of keepers. For time travel, romance,
a hint of suspense and history at it's best. This is an excellent choice for all readers.
