Detective Barbara Fremont is working undercover as blonde bimbo Bambi investigating bootlegged porn DVDs. She works for the Springfield Police Department. Lou Franconi is working as manager for several shifts at All Night Videos. He is also a cop and investigator with the State Office of Criminal Investigations. Barbara’s Chief is unaware that Lou is a cop. One night Desk Sergeant Sam Taylor at Barbara’s precinct meets Lou when both Lou and Barbara come in handcuffed. Lou had thought Barbara was a hooker. Lou and Barbara are assigned to work undercover the night of the premiere of the movie Strange Lust with Lacynda Luse and Seymour Dickie at the Venus Theater. The premiere is also celebrating the anniversary of BJ Studios. Barbara is a good cop who works hard and is in the top 5% of firearms. Lou has a beautiful body and a cover-model look. They want each other with desperate need. They both consider the other a pain in the ass, and a smart mouth who is too arrogant. The Chief laughingly pointed out to Barbara that they would be a perfect match.
The story of Barbara and Lou is very, very sexually arousing. As they work together, Lou finds Barbara physically distracting and Barbara finds herself pulled toward Lou in a way that is beyond her experience and both thrilling and a little scary. The danger of their undercover work heightens the anticipation between them. The love scenes between Barbara and Lou are wildly erotic and beautifully written by Ms. Kelly. I want more. This is Book 2 of the All Night Video Series. Now I must read the entire series and more hot, hot, hot books by Ms. Kelly.
