A MUSE ME by S.L. Carpenter

Author, Eugene (aka Doris Daye) has lost his inspiration. What’s a man to do when he can’t put a story into words, when he lacks the incentive to create a story of romance and passion that readers love? He takes a trip to the Caribbean of course! Eugene sets off to find his way back into his stories and beat the writer’s block he’s suffering from. A getaway that he’s hopeful will help, he heads to Aruba in order to let his mind wander, his soul be set free and find something to set his creativity free.

Eugene never expected that something to be a someone! Madison Hansen becomes his muse, in her arms, in her bed, in her body, she’s everything that he needs to be set free. But what happens when fun in the sun of Aruba is over and both of them have to return to the ‘real world’…

Sizzling, in-depth, hot and humorous are a few ways to describe S.L. Carpenter’s, A Muse Me. A story told from the male point-of-view is an interesting and exciting one. Not often do readers get this kind of story, this kind of treat to know what a man is thinking at all times, especially when it comes to a woman! Mr. Carpenter delivers a great story that will make readers laugh, overheat from the sexual chemistry of the characters and even make them see men in a much different light. What I enjoyed most about Eugene and this story was the author’s gentleness in the male point-of-view. The author penned a male character that didn’t come off as obnoxious, arrogant, etc., which one might assume a man might be when having a fling. There was real depth to Eugene, with real human flaws, making A Muse Me all the more enjoyable. Madison was a great heroine who made me laugh and made a memorable splash in Eugene’s life.

Kudos to S.L. Carpenter for a great story and I certainly hope he has more stories like this one in store for his readers in the future.
