Shiloh Walker once again weaves a magical tale full of fantastic characters and strong emotions. Kennedy is a woman made strong from her adversity and the support of people who love her. Yet like many victims, she needs to come to closure about incident, specifically about the creatures that saved her. Duncan has been trained from birth to protect the Pride. But soon his feelings for her begin to interfere with the safety of the Pride and he has to confront that conflict. As usual, Ms. Walker easily portrays the intensely sensual and sexual feelings as well as the emotional connection between the two main characters. This fast paced plot also has a few surprising twists that will keep you guessing right up to the end. If you're looking for a quick, hot read, grab Hunter's Pride.
