As the night progressed and their mutual desire flared to life and they indulge in a little erotic exploration, never expecting to meet again. But their infatuation only increased as the days turned into weeks. Neither can forget the other, but do either have the courage to overcome society and reach for a love that was forbidden by everyone?
HER MAD GRACE
Hugh La Coeur’s carriage broke down in the middle of a nowhere. As storm closed in, Hugh sets out to get help. The only place close enough was a deteriorated old manor. Upon first meeting the odd inhabitants, he wondered if he wouldn’t have been better out in the storm. When he realized this was the home of the woman known as the mad grace, he debates turning around without assistance. Until he saw her. The mystery woman known as Charlotte.
Not wanting to Hugh to dig too deep into her past, Charlotte distracted him by inviting him to her bed. With the attraction raging between them, it was no hardship. In fact, she was looking forward to it. Hugh indulged in her offer but sensed something was wrong. In the past, he was unable to help his sister when she needed him most. He was determined to prove himself to Charlotte, and insisted on aiding her. The only thing Charlotte believed that would save her was a lost treasure map left to her by her dead husband. For with a dubious past and a ruined reputation, she can depend on no one else. Past betrayal taught her this lesson well. But was Hugh any different? Her heart said yes, but when she leaned of his less than pristine past, will she give him the chance to prove himself?
I adore these stories. Not only do they read smooth, they are well paced, and each story wonderfully created to keep the readers attention. Each character was perfectly matched to their mate. Some of the actions were not likely to happen for this time period. But if the young miss was daring enough or the gentleman bold enough, everything’s possible. I wouldn’t change anything. The characters are three-dimensional and the story involving. Once you sit down, make sure you have time to read all three at once, for you won’t want to put it down until finished. From hot passion to willing seduction, all three stories are gripping and engage the senses from page one. If you want a fast paced story and a chance to fall in love with some hunky hero’s, read about three men who know what they want and weren’t afraid to risk it all for a chance at happiness.
