Kaycee Mathews and Mike Donavon have known each other all their lives. They had a relationship that ended 10 years earlier when Kaycee found Mike with another woman. Since then she’s not been able to settle down with anyone. Mike wanted to explain things to Kaycee and make peace. Since their breakup Mike was still treated like a member of the Mathews family and spent more time with them than Kaycee. Kaycee’s mother wants Kaycee and Mike back together and decides to play matchmaker. Unknown to Kaycee and Mike, she tells each of them the family cabin in the mountains is available. They both go there expecting solitude and a snowstorm hits. Will they be able to work things out?
The characters of Kaycee and Mike are very likeable characters like people you know. They had been childhood sweethearts. The holidays had special meaning for both of them because of all the shared memories. It seemed once they spent time together they would be able to work things out. The interference of the members of Kaycee’s
family showed a lot of caring. This is a love story that will make you
feel good.
