Orphaned as a child, Regan MacLauren feels she’s finally found a home when she marries her childhood friend and clan chief, Roddy. The wedding night and next morning destroy her dream. After an accident causes her to lose her memory, she embarks on a journey which could lead her to all the desires of her heart, though a suitor with less than honorable intentions might take her on a path she would rather not travel. Can love bring her home?
“Wings of Morning” by Kathleen Morgan engaged my heart from the first. Characters with real feelings and situations grab your heart on this well written journey. Regan is a lost soul searching for love. She finds it in the arms of a Savior in the most unlikely place.
Kathleen Morgan is a wonderful storyteller able to grip your emotions with words on a page. I have not read the first book in the series, but this does not take away from “Wings” at all. I look forward to reading book one soon and any other books in the series.
I would recommend “Wings of Morning” as a good read for older teens and adults. There is nothing offensive or objectionable in the content, though situations better suited for adults to read are present.
Again, I highly recommend “Wings of Morning” as a great read. Be prepared to spend some time with the book, though, since it was hard to put down.
