This is my first foray into the “Undead” world of zany Betsy Taylor, “Queen of the Vampires” but I can guarantee you it will not be my last! In this fourth book of the series, Betsy is back and sassier than ever! Joined by her posse of unique (to say the least) family and friends, it will surely be a holiday adventure to remember.
It’s nearly Christmas and Betsy has her hands full – she has her upcoming wedding to plan (if only she could get her fiancé, the sexy and undead Eric Sinclair to pitch in), she’s the new “Dear Abby” of an online newsletter devoted to the dilemmas of newly ordained vampires. Yikes! Can things get any wilder for Betsy? Did I forget to mention that she is being stalked by the ghost of a serial killer’s latest victim? Just so happens this killer has a penchant for tall blondes too!
Chock full of subplots, there is never a dull moment in the life (or death!)of Betsy. “Undead and Unreturnable” moves along quickly with its own brand of quirky charm and delightful wit. MaryJanice Davidson has broken the mold with Betsy, who is quickly becoming the Queen of Vampire Chick lit. I have to admit, I’m also in love with every one of this series jacket illustrations. A winner all the way around!
