Katelyn Carter moved to a small town in Texas after living in Atlanta. Her marriage failed and she wants a fresh start. She bought a small ranch that needs a lot of TLC. The story of Katelyn and Daniel is very, very hot. I loved these characters. Daniel is one of those men who takes time with the woman he cares about and he introduces a whole new world to Katelyn who had only had the experience of her ex-husband who was controlling, cheated on her and thought only of his own pleasure. Katelyn’s ex-husband was also very verbally abusive and when she meets Daniel, he senses her deep sadness and loneliness. Ms. Devlin writes beautifully of the joy experienced by these two characters. This is a book that will make you feel good.
