PARANORMAL MATES SOCIETY: WEREWOLVES OF LONDON by Isabella Jordan

Grace Shaw has lived in the shadows all her life. As an agent for the Thoth Agency, it is her job to observe all modes of society from the occult to the mystical beings that others no longer believe exist. On a verge of a fascinating discovery, Grace is disgruntled to be pulled off the case and reassigned to London. But when she learns a fellow agent as been murdered, Grace wants to do more than observe. Against agency rules, Grace follows in the footsteps of her fellow agent in hopes of finding the killer. Instead, she finds all the clues lead her to the Paranormal Mates Society.

Carter Annis lives in society with a double identity. But when the murder of a friend leads back to him, Carter is afraid his alter ego won’t bear up under scrutiny. To clear his name, he needs to find the killer before others find out how much of a monster he can actually be at night. As a potential alpha leader of his local werewolf pack, time draws near for the legends to come true. This story tells of a woman, who once she completes the mating ritual, will lead the pack to the true leader and prosperity for the pack.

Fortune smiled on Carter, for when he signed onto the PMS site, he knew Grace was the one from his dreams. With a past hidden from outsiders, these two people uncover years of secrets. Their worlds collide and they realize they need each other or suffer the consequences alone. This becomes apparent when Grace comes under attack. Without her, the life of his pack will be endangered, maybe even destroyed.

A lot of the novel seemed to be told off the pages, so much so this novella felt it was a part of a larger book. Even saying that, I have to admit this book captured my attention. Isabella Jordan has a talent for writing compelling characters. PMS: Werewolves of London has a certain amount of suspense, passion, and a touch of the unexpected to keep this reader turning the pages. Carter is a hundred percent male and isn’t ashamed of it. I loved him in this role for potential pack leader. His protective attitude toward Grace made him all the more likable. Grace seemed to be a no nonsense kind of gal, not afraid to grab what she wants from life. With a secret fantasy life that might shock some, she seems to be the perfect wife for the pack leader. This novella is another great read for the Paranormal Mates Society and a credit to Isabella Jordan.
