PARANORMAL MATES SOCIETY 1: MATCHMAKER'S MATCH by Willa Okati

He liked to be called Scratch -not the devil, not the fallen angel, not Lucifer and definitely not Morningstar. Trapped alone for eternity in hell, he has nothing better to do than cause mischief. He invented HTML, the internet, pop-up ads, and everything evil. He was a god, but an impotent one, as it were. But not for long. With the new dating site up, the Paranormal Mates Society, fondly known as PMS, Scratch plans to match people up with the worse possible candidates. Then, sit back and enjoy the entertainment.

However, after a promising start, the PMS statistics takes a drastic turn for the worse. People are actually finding love! The horrors! Desperate to fix things, he finds himself distracted by a most unusual messenger. An honest to goodness angel called the Wander of the World has arrived in his realm. It has been years since he had visitors. But what could he want? Nothing good, he’d bet. Scratch rubs his hands together in glee, waiting for the true fun to start.

Not only is this book hilarious from front to back, every page pushed the story forward. With quick wit and three dimensional characters that pull you in the fun, this book is a hit. This story is a great start of a series and I read it in one sitting, with a smile on my face. Action, danger, sensuality and humor make Paranormal Mates Society 1: Matchmaker’s Match a winner. I would highly recommend this short novella to anyone who wants to get away from the world and enjoy themselves. Willa Okati is one very talented and imaginative writer, one to keep a watch out for in the future.
