Chris Gabriel (Angel) left his job as a JAG lawyer to become a PJ (parajumper). An old friend and the one girl he had loved, Suzanne Johannsen, comes to visit and asks him to let her stay for a few days. Chris agrees but feels uncomfortable in his own home. A long time ago Chris, Suz and Max had shared an apartment. Suz and Max had married. Honesty is of utmost importance to Chris but the situation
with Suz requires him to be dishonest with everyone. Chris is gone on a mission one night and returns home the next day to find Max dead in his
living room and Suz and all of her things gone. Chris is the only suspect in the murder. A JAG lawyer, Claire Janova, is sent from Washington, DC to investigate what happened with Max. When Chris is arrested, she becomes his lawyer. How can she defend a client who won't defend
himself and tell her the whole story of what happened?
The story of Claire and Chris is intense, because the true story is not
being disclosed while Chris is a murder suspect and Claire is trying to
defend him. All the characters in A Good Place to Land are also in this
story and they greatly contribute to Claire and Chris' story. The story
is about well-trained, highly-qualified individuals whose work efforts
save a lot of people. If you're looking for a story about heroes, there
are several in this story. I think everyone would enjoy this series. I
also look forward to reading more books by Ms. Daniels.
