THE HARDER THEY FALL, BOOK 2 by Beth Williamson

TJ Maguire has been successfully running her father's rodeo business, Bar T Rodeos, for the past 12 years. She's getting ready for the last rodeo of the season. She meets cowboy Hank Beltane, whom she had disqualified in the barrel races. He tries following her, intimidating her, pushing her to change her mind and remove the disqualification. She goes ahead with the business of the final rodeo but is finding it hard to ignore Hank because he looks like a tall Greek God and her body responds to him whenever he is around despite the fact that he continues to annoy her. Hank is as turned on by TJ as she is by him so he decides to seduce her. They go out to dinner at Monty's Pizza, a favorite spot for both of them. TJ finds her time there with Hank charming and when he kisses her after dinner she feels like she's on fire. Will TJ's mistrust of men, particularly cowboys, interfere with her feelings with Hank or will she see where things lead between the two of them?

The story of TJ and Hank is SO VERY HOT. There is a sizzling energy between them. I loved these characters. TJ is so driven and sassy. Hank is so determined and charming, basically a really good man. They are both very strong-willed so there are some interesting exchanges along the way. Also, TJ had not had a normal teenage life because of being on the road most of the year with the rodeo so the flirting she experiences with Hank is great fun for both of them and amusing reading. Ms. Williamson writes the love scenes so beautifully I felt as turned on as TJ and Hank. This is a hot, hot, hot read and a lovely story. I recommend this book to everyone.
