Mary Katherine O’Connor falls into a well and ends up on the Planet Amazurn. She went through a portal between Earth and Amazurn traveling through time and space. Mary Katherine enjoys her new life where women enjoy freedoms that were not accessible to her before. Her job as one of the Queen’s pilots leads to her next adventure. She and her partner, Jethrex are suppose to pick up Prince GreatSword and return with him to Amazurn so he can marry Princess Twateeny. This marriage will cement a treaty between Amazurn and Tauroth.
Mary Katherine is a strong female heroine. She takes advantage of the status of women in her new home. In a world that favors women being sexually fulfilled and educated, Mary Katherine fits in perfectly. GreatSword is considered the runt of the litter by his father, the King. However from the first description of him, the reader knows he isn’t by a long shot. He sets Mary Katherine’s mouth watering from his physical appearance. The attraction between these two is red-hot but troubles are on the horizon as GreatSword is supposed to marry Princess Twateeny. How these two reach their “happily ever after” makes for great reading as the author deftly moves the story forward. The story is complex with plenty of twists and turns as we watch Mary Katherine and GreatSword’s relationship grow. The sexual tension is apropos for the storyline. There will be many moments where a smile will be plastered on the reader’s face!
GreatSword’s Woman is a fun-filled erotic adventure. From the characters’ names, the reader can infer that this is a tongue-in-cheek tweaking of the erotic, paranormal and romance genres. This is one entertaining book which all romance readers can appreciate!!
