Vida is selected to be the Heir Mother to the Emperor. It is a title bestowed on the woman chosen to have his children but not his wife. She agrees to this because the monetary gain will help her family live comfortably. Emperor Zavier is an Aspectian shape shifter and he wants Vida.
Ms. Hill has written another beguiling story. From the opening page, it captures the reader’s interest in the storyline as well as the two main characters. Vida and Zavier’s chemistry is sizzling as they find themselves wanting more than just a physical relationship. They are well-matched even though she is human and he is not. Their relationship is very sweet and highly erotic. Zavier is a softie at heart and does his best to win Vida’s love. Of course, the path to true love is never smooth and there are a few problems, namely his mother and a want-to-be wife.
Emperor’s Desire gives us a new world of shape shifters that we would love to see more of. This book is only 50 pages long but it whets the reader’s appetite for more stories about this world. It is a highly erotic tale that will definitely engage the reader’s senses!
