WHAT PRICE PARADISE by Katherine Allred

Oh no! What else could wrong?
The rabbit died and Abby is pregnant! Abby Grayson, a waitress who has been in love with Tate McCullom, a rancher for what seems forever, finally gets his attention. One night she took care of Tate when he got drunk after finding out his, off again on again, fiancée Diane has cheated on him again. He and Abby have a one-night stand.

Abby is having a hard time making ends meet and getting pregnant with Tate’s baby will make it rougher for her to survive. She is in a bind. Tate is taking care of his younger brother as well as running his ranch after the death of his parents. Thrown into the mix is the spoiled rich fiancée, Diane, who is not ready to make the commitment to Tate and his rancher lifestyle.

When Tate and Abby get married things really heat up. Will Tate be able to let his feelings for Diane go or will he leave the marriage for Diane? Tate insisted on the marriage but will he live to regret it?  While Abby has always love Tate and is overjoyed to be married to him, she is upset that he wants it in name only. As desire takes hold and the fire in Tate is ignited by Abby, can their marriage last? Will Tate realize what he has before it is too late?

What Price Paradise by Katherine Allred is a book well worth a look as you are taken into a world of the normal people like you and me. I could relate to this story very easily, as well as see it happening as if in a movie playing out in front of my eyes. As the tension builds between Abby and Tate so did my reading. I devoured this book hoping against all odds that love would find a way into their hearts and make things better.

Enticing with emotions What Price Paradise brought me to tears, jeers and cheers. While the burdens of life face us in everyday life so do they come to play with Abby and Tate. What a really enjoyable book that takes you away into a story that holds you spellbound from the first page to the last. A modern day western to heat up the emotions make it hard to put down. This reviewer and reader will be looking for more books by Katherine Allred. A great book to curl up with on a cold winter night to be taken to world of romance.
