Charlotte Sane met cowboy Ty Wilcox while attending her first and she thought last rodeo. She thought the animals were being tortured. Charlotte and Ty were both amazed by the intensity of their instant attraction. Charlotte was sassy, stubborn and scared. Ty wanted to spend some time with her. He knew from their first kiss that she was his mate. Now he had the challenge of convincing Charlotte and making it clear to her that running away from him was not an option.
The relationship between Charlotte and Ty is SO VERY HOT. This book satisfies a lot of cowboy fantasies. The relationship between Charlotte and Ty is interracial and shows how some people behave stupidly when encountering an interracial relationship. However, the strength of the characters, separately and together, is much stronger than any challenge they run into. There are a number of interesting supporting characters including Ida, Ty's housekeeper, Ray, Ida's husband, Russell Crichton, Ty's lawyer, Tamara, Charlotte's best friend and Nathan, Charlotte's boss. This book is an exciting, very sexy read. I recommend it to everyone.
