FANTASY BAR by Trista Ann Michaels

Jerrod is out to find the killer of his friend and is finding that something didn't feel right about the scene. It looked like his friend had been holding a woman captive and that to escape, she had killed him. Jerrod is sure that his friend wouldn't do something like that, and he's sure there must be some kind of mistake. He's a top investigator, so he's knows he will find the truth one way or another. Then he meets Kira, and everything changes.

Kira is on the run from the scene of her crime. She'd been captured by a depraved man with a lot of power, who had held her captive and tortured her mercilessly. She had a business that no one knew she owned, Fantasy Bar, and decided to hide there. It's a place were you can order a drink, and whatever the drinks name is you can get that done to you. It's a thriving business, but because of her position in society she didn't want anyone to know she had owned it, so kept it very quiet. Now she's glad she did, because she needs a place to hide, and her place is perfect -- until Jerrod finds her.

In Fantasy Bar, Kira and Jerrod make a great couple, because from the moment they meet the attraction between the two lights up the pages. The sparks fly and the sex is hot in this passionate story of two people who both have secrets. I liked both characters, Kira is just the kind of heroine I like, strong and sexy, and not afraid to speak or do what she thinks is right. Jerrod is the alpha hero, who only wants to do what is right for both his friend and Kira. I enjoyed reading Fantasy Bar, I thought it was action packed and kept me entertained through the whole book. This story is defiantly one to try if you like your romances hot with a little bit of mystery thrown in.
