book is the ultimate in cat-scratch-fever.
Tigon
is by author Stephanie Burke. When it comes to Ms. Burke, her books are
always different, varied, and come from left field. You are left
wondering, ‘how in the world does she come up with these wild characters
and plots’? If you loved Liger, then you will definitely want to
get Tigon. They are tied together, but Tigon is an
excellent stand-alone novel.
While
this reader enjoyed this book, she is not sure what to make of the story
– you have to be in tune with Ms. Burke’s style of writing to totally
appreciate its concept. This reader would become unfocused and
disconnected to the character from time to time, wondering where the
story was leading, then connecting again down the road. It is lacking
the continuity this reader needed to keep emerged within the premise of
the story.
Kobaye is a fierce leader, with his aggressive alpha persona and magical
markings he is a formidable opponent. All bow to his leadership. With
the onset of his first time going into heat, Kobaye is unable to control
his anger and sexual drive. With females fighting over him and his kind
threatened, it just adds to his, already, aggressive nature.
