Cassandra’s
Enchantment-Cynthia Williams
Phineas Drake is a
warlock in training, one raised in the deep south of Georgia. An
invitation from home, from the matriarch of the clan, reaches him at
school, and he has no choice but to go. The matriarch fears others in
the realm of magic crave their power. So to solidify their clan, to make
them stronger, she casts a spell.
Cassandra stood in
the back of the hall, horrified by the spell’s repercussions. The only
way she can leave the house is if she pledges herself to marriage! She
already married once to strengthen the clan and is frustrated she has to
do so again. Yet … this opens up the door to the deep cravings she keeps
hidden … Phineas. Can she open herself up to him and risk herself
again?
Three authors and
three very well crafted books. Melani Blazer creates a heart-wrenching
story of lost love and the last chance of redemption. The romance is
spicy and for some, a tad on the wild side. B.J. McCall weaves an
entertaining tale of two lost souls. The only drawback to this is the
focus seems to be on sex and not the characters and engaging storyline.
Cynthia Williams wrote the best novel of the three, and was well worth
the wait. Both the characters have to deal with unrequited love, pulling
this reader in effortlessly at their plight.
