Lauren
was in a near fatal car accident when she was ten. Then the doctors
found she had a heart problem. That required her to have a sedentary
life. She always felt overprotected by her family while growing up. As
an adult, Lauren has had a heart transplant that was successful. Now
Lauren wants to explore life. Carla went to her family's ranch taking
her friend Lauren with her. Lauren went to get away from her family.
When they got there, Lauren realized Carla hadn't told her cousin, Romeo
Montero, that she was bringing a guest. Romeo Montero is tall, dark,
handsome, pure Texas cowboy. He's the epitome of bad boy. He's well
known for his skills of pleasuring women. When Carla and Lauren get
there, many of the cousins were there too. Romeo had owned the ranch
for fifteen years and it was frequently visited by family. Romeo's
parents had died when he was in his teens. His grandparents had become
his guardians. They died when he was in his early twenties. Romeo was
considered a demanding pain in the ass by the rest of the family. Carla
had invited Lauren to visit with her because Lauren was Romeo's type and
she wanted to see how Romeo reacted to Lauren.
I
loved the characters of Lauren and Romeo. They're very much like people
I know. Lauren had had a somewhat restricted life because of her
health. Romeo was used to being in control. Romeo and Lauren met and
Romeo felt like he'd met his mate. Lauren was attracted to Romeo but
found him intimidating. However, he seemed like a perfect candidate to
introduce her to adult pleasures. Can Romeo convince Lauren they're
meant to be together always?
I
think a cowboy can be very convincing when he puts his mind to it. The
story of Lauren and Romeo is SO VERY HOT. I just loved it. The
eroticism of their story is very arousing to the reader and beautifully
written. This story had surprise, caring, gentleness, down and dirty
sex, an eroticism that was so beautiful that it made me cry, and so much
love and joy it was a delight to read. I recommend it to everyone
looking for a hot read.
