This women's fiction suspense novel takes place both in the present day and 1912 concurrently.
Lindsey Taylor is doing research for the next novel she is writing about the Bread & Roses strike of 1912. She hates being away from her husband, but because of events that take place around her, she is compelled to stay in Massachusetts instead of returning to Florida as planned.
Jenna Waverly's body was found in a frozen river during the strike. Lindsey wants to find out what happened to her. Unfortunately, someone doesn't
want her to know the truth.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Lynn Coleman is a master-storyteller who grabs the reader's interest and heart right from the beginning of the book. Her convoluted mystery keeps the reader guessing and provides a story that keeps the pages turning. Her characters are fully three-dimensional with foibles that most readers can understand and feel kinship with. Hurry to your nearest bookstore and get a copy right away.
