Hailey
Tovar is a sculptor with a cat named Picasso. She is primarily a
recluse who works at home. She has a big kiln in her backyard. One
morning she sees an unfamiliar man delivering her paper. He's Ryan
Matthews, filling in for his stepfather Donnie Howard for the week while
Donnie and Ryan's mother are on a trip to Cancun. When Hailey and Ryan
meet they both felt a sense of déjà vu. Hailey's cat Picasso loves
Ryan. Picasso usually didn't respond to strangers. A little while
later Hailey noticed that Ryan was across the street by her neighbor's
mailbox. She went back inside leaving her front door open. Ryan
returned to Hailey's and find that their feelings are undeniable. They
want one another explosively and wind up making love the rest of the
afternoon. That evening Hailey and Ryan both wondered if their passion
was a fluke or connected to destiny...
This
story is beautiful, passionate, intimate, a very compelling read. The
characters of Hailey and Ryan are written with a great passion that
draws the reader right into their story. They share passion, surprise,
tenderness, romance, gentleness, explosive chemistry and a very strong
sense that they were meant to be together. I loved this story and
recommend it to everyone.
