Tamara thinks that she is happy in her life. She’s in charge of her father’s security detail and if she doesn’t have a private life, well that’s just part of the deal. He’s the president of the federation, and she’s got a very important job that she can’t fail at. When her sister talks her into going out for a night on the town, she finally caves in to get her persistent sibling to leave her alone. She meets a man that she’s undeniably attracted to, but she’s disappointed that he seems like a jerk. When she leaves, he follows her out of the club and they both get a big surprise when the attraction starts to spiral out of control. When they finally put the brakes on, Tamara decides that she’s never going to see him again, and moves on.
Prince Kendrick has had many women, and this one should be no different. She resists him, but he thinks in the end that she would have given in if he’d had the time to seduce her. After all, he’s in a position where he rarely gets told no. When he meets her with her father months later during a negotiation for his planets protection, he finds the fire burns just as hot, and wants her for himself so he offers a bargain that she can’t refuse.
I enjoyed reading Bandar: Contract to Pleasure; it was a great book with a lot of different stories going on in it. Kendrick comes off as a jerk at first, but after you get to know him you really start to understand where he is coming from and find out he’s a great guy. Tamara is wholly immersed in her job with no interest in finding a man, and it was fun to watch the ice thaw when she gets together with Kendrick. They both find out that they were wrong about a lot of things between men and women, and that’s what makes reading this book so great. I genuinely liked both characters and cared about what happened to them, and that always makes for a good read. I would definitely recommend Bandar: Contract to Pleasure if you like fast paced love stories that have great sex in it as well!
