Someone is brutally murdering priests in New York City. In spite of odds, the killer seems to be everywhere at once, striking as the whim hits. As pressure mounts, the mayor, governor, and the police all want this madman stopped before anyone else is murdered.
They aren’t the only ones looking for the murder. The Catholic Church and the Vatican must have the killer silenced—one way or another—because what he/she knows is their worst nightmare. With him or her remaining on the loose, the chances of a terrible, dark secret being made public are increasing. Will this killer be stopped? Why is he/she murdering priests?
PREDATORS & PRAYERS reads like an action/thriller you might watch on television. I personally liked the ending where the author tied up events like you see on TV – telling us in brief blurbs what each major character went on to do or become. The story writing is tight, intense, and gripping, keeping my attention to the end.
Philip Carlo is said to be one of the nation’s foremost experts on serial killers. I could quickly see that he knew his stuff backwards and forwards. I couldn’t put the book down and recommend this book to anyone who enjoys thrillers. The only negative thing I could find is that not all possible story lines were fully explored and appeared unfinished, although the story wrapped up neatly in the end. Unfortunately, the story also mirrors a truth about pedophiles serving as priests. Readers will not be disappointed in this intense, action packed story. Pick up PREDATORS & PRAYERS today.
