This reviewer found Kiana
and Ian to be courageous
individuals, facing their respective peoples' prejudices and mistrust,
their
own conflicting loyalties and duties with grace and dignity. They
struggled to
overcome a number of barriers cast in their paths and learned to trust
one
another.
Both are strong,
well-developed characters, with strengths
and weaknesses that ultimately balance them as a couple. This reviewer
found
the sizzling chemistry between them to provide delightful suspense as
their
relationship developed into something deeper than either Ian or Kiana
realized
it was becoming.
Though this appears to be
the first in a series, it stands
alone as an excellent addition to the library of both the science
fiction fan
and the romance aficionado. I highly recommend this book and find
myself
looking forward to more from Ms. Forrest's vivid imagination!
