When Mary J. Nelson was diagnosed with breast cancer, she decided to sit down and write a devotional, designed to reach out to women who are struggling with a potentially fatal disease.
The devotionals are short, usually not longer than one page, and easily read in one sitting. The verses chosen have to do with God’s grace, healing, and faith, and will minister to anyone with any type illness.
The devotionals point the women readers toward God and will encourage, support, and comfort.
I don’t have cancer (that I know of) and yet I was encouraged by the reading of this book. With as many women who are annually diagnosed with breast cancer, I think that GRACE FOR EACH HOUR is definitely a timely book. It will reach out and touch many who will be struggling during this difficult time.
GRACE FOR EACH HOUR is the ideal gift for the woman who has – or overcome – breast cancer.
