Evie Gray,
the River Bend town librarian, and her family are in trouble. When
Logan Crane
hears of this from his brother, Steven, he heads back to River Bend to
help in
any way he can. Years ago, the Gray’s made a huge difference in his
life. Evie
was his best friend, and more, so he’ll do whatever he can for them.
But Evie
gives Logan
the
cold shoulder when he returns to River Bend. He doesn’t understand it,
but will
work hard to get back in her good graces. Years ago he wanted Evie
Gray, but
out of respect for her parents taking him in as a teen and to get away
from his
own family, the left town and Evie. But wanting Evie hasn’t died.
Seeing the
woman she’s become, he wants her more than ever.
Can Logan help Evie’s family

convince Evie that he loved her then…and he loves her now?
This first
book in the Redemption series, Logan’s
Temptation, is the start
in what looks to be an amazing series. Logan and Steven are two
brothers that I
definitely wanted to get to know! Evie, while quiet at first, is a
spitfire who
doesn’t take crap from anyone. The heat and friendship, while rocky, is
still
very much between Logan
and Evie, which a reader can’t help but feel since its written so well. Though Evie tries to deny caring about Logan, she’s
helpless to
resist him.
The plots
in this story of romance and suspense – what is Grossman Corp and why
do they
want the Gray’s land so bad – is handled with a sure hand by authors,
Lena
Matthews and Liz Andrews. I so can’t wait for Steven’s story, Steven’s Salvation, hopefully
soon from this publisher. Evie and Logan set the pages on fire in Logan’s Temptation, but from the
glimpses of Steven we get, I have a feeling that Steven’s
Salvation may be even hotter. It certainly is
anticipated by this reader!
