COMING HOME is short story about two people Diedre LaCroix and Jacob Walker who fell in love as teens. Jacob leaves the bayou mysteriously, so a heartbroken Diedre leaves to follows her dreams. Although Diedre’s had other relationships, she never quite got over Jacob. Now Diedre and Jacob have come home due to the death of Diedre’s mamere. It doesn’t take long for them to figure out that their love has waited all this time. They reconnect instantly and the feelings they still have are very intense.
Inga Mahn has a powerful pen to be able to bring a connection to her characters in only nine pages. The story was touching and convincing with so few words. If you’re up for a touchingly, sensual story with lots of emotion packed into a few pages, then may I suggest COMING HOME for your reading entertainment.
