VENGEANCE TO THE MAX by JB Skully

Max Starr the unwilling psychic, Cameron the ghost of her dead husband and DeWitt Long her current boyfriend are all back in JB Skully's 'Vengeance to the Max'.

Two years has passed since Max’s husband, Cameron was murdered. Cameron's ghost has been with her ever since. With each crime Max solves along the way in her quest to find Cameron’s killers, she realizes that she did not know the man she had married. With her latest vision reaffirming what she is starting to feel, Max learns that Cameron had a sister. With Witt, the current man in her life, in tow, Max figures going to Lines, Michigan to look for Cameron's sister will be a quick trip. Quickly Max realizes that there is more going on in Lines than meets the eye.

Soon Max and Witt are drawn into a world of danger, deception and intrigue. With each step, Max is learning that there was more to Cameron’s murder than she knew. What will Max uncover about the husband she did not know as well as she thought? Will she be able to lay to rest the feelings of guilt and mistrust she has?

'Vengeance to the Max' is a thrill ride from beginning to end. Expertly plotted with twists, turns and so many surprises I was drawn to know what happened next. Packed with intrigue and danger, yet erotic and heart pounding, this story does not leave you disappointed. Max Starr reiterates her deepness and shows even more about herself. Witt shows a stronger side to himself and his sex appeal is captivating.
With each new book in the Max Series, JB Skully raises the bar. Vengeance to the Max surpasses all I expected. I highly recommend Vengeance to the Max for any reader who loves mystery, hot sex, memorable characters, and a plot that keeps you wondering until the very last word.
